The addition of Tabitha's perspective was good and should have been considered, as it allowed us to see how the community and family change structurally, but the novel overall lacked the humor and ulcerative humor that characterizes the first two. It all felt empty to me, including Quinn's relationship with Johnny Dee.

I'm not against a polyamorous ending or an ending without a "happy after", but in this novel I wanted... something. Something.
