What is it like having a clown as a Dad? We asked Tweedy's daughter

He's a jolly clown with a red van, with boundless energy and a master of slapstick-style comedy; she's a studious grammar school student who can often be found lost in a book.

On paper they seem polar opposites, but the similarities and obvious mutual love between Tweddy and 15-year-old Willow Digvid make them a clear father-daughter pair.

Calling your father a "clown" is something of a rite of passage for many frustrated adolescents, but what does it mean to have a beloved, jolly mold as the head of a household?

"I honestly didn't know anything else about him," Willow explains. "My dad was a clown before I was born and I can't introduce him to anyone else.

I'm proud of him, and my friends think he's jolly, but sometimes life is a little surreal.

People ask me, 'What are you like when you're not talking?' and I tell them it's nothing too dramatic, it's exactly the same as it is on stage. I think it's funny when my dad does something naughty. Sometimes he asks me for my opinion on a new idea, but I usually roll my eyes, so I think he's given up."

"I treated him as a brother and a father when he was younger. Sometimes I feel like I'm more of a parent. When we were little, we had a trampoline and my dad used it more than me. I tried to teach him how to make a trellis.

When Twiddy calls his daughter "Little Miss Health and Safety," Willow jokes about getting stuck in a tree.

"Because I'm not as tall as you are," he replies.

One of Twiddy's final drawings involves climbing into the woods of the building to the vent near Willow's bedroom and calling her name in a voice that sounds like a ghost's.

"He went back upstairs and asked me why I wasn't scared," she laughs.

He also let his daughter try out his latest soup recipe.

"He paid me ВЈ5 to stand in the bath and threw this soup at me."

Twidy, whose real name is Alan Digvid, says people don't realise how much a clown has to go through.

"I've been trying new recipes. Getting the consistency right is important.

"Being a clown isn't just about going on stage and falling over. Being a clown isn't just about going on stage and falling over."

Former trapezoidal artist Sharon is very interested in family mechanics. "I like fun things, but I know when I should be careful.

"Willow often makes Toy laugh. Most of the toy is that he meets and plays on something.

Willow recalls that his father was making a fort using stairs during his "holidays."

Willaloo's early childhood education was a combination of home schooling and going to a more formal educational institution.

"I checked where I lived and checked the OFSTED report," she explains. "I go to junior high school all day and do not participate in the show.

Eventually, she chose Sirenester Powell Elementary School, and while studying there, the family rented a house in the city.

Toidi and Sharon want to make her daughter a good education, but she seems to be satisfied with her clear turning point when choosing a future profession.

"Until recently, I wanted to do a job related to psychology and mental health, but in recent months I have been in play. The whole family goes to theaters and I have watched a lot of theater works.
