MONTY PYTHON'S COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

It doesn't hold a candle to 3D Ultra or Pro Pinball, but it at least has a lot of variety. There are handouts on the screen towards the end of the game, and the introductory video has its own hidden labyrinth, but these are among the last to be cleared.

The last two volumes contain a trio of basic mini-games that are rather sad rather than convincing, and "Pythonizer" with the ability to change the desktop theme. The game has a humorous depiction of Whac-A-Mole and Pang, and the third is thought of as a kind of floating chicken deathtrap. I play these segments the least, due to the game's lack of humor, its quick oblivion, and the fact that it hasn't offered a desktop design aimed at a particular theme for over a decade (not to mention that it's basically incompatible with advanced systems). The game has some funny voice clips. For example, this is what it actually says:

Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time lives or dies depending on whether you're a fan of their original English humor or not. If so, you'll most likely grin during the bad games and mazes. Other than that, it's a pretty fun game. Even sketches you've seen more than 10 times still have a fair amount of freshness from the unique team.

It may be a waste of time, but the time spent is worth it.
