If you have just started a job to draw people as a professional artist, the question will be, "How much should I pay?"

When I just started working in this industry, I think everyone has faced the problem of price setting environment. Some beginners think that they should work at a lower price than experienced artists, while others think that they should volunteer or "free" to gain experience and practice. Masu.

Proposing your service can help you create a portfolio and gain work experience, but can be a disadvantage for yourself and the industry. First, a potential client may find a "newcomer" that gives the impression of "going shopping" and works for free. Second, you will give you a product made by spending your own money and spend money. When I just started working as a professional makeup artist, we were taught that we had to take a fee at school to cover the cost and expenses for work. Students and new graduates were often recommended for "free work", but materials and expenses were always refunded. What if this applied this to a face paint artist?

When I started face painting, I had the same hourly wage as makeup service. Immediately, I noticed that I was drawing many people at the same time. In the first year, the hourly wage increased by 50 %, and the following year increased by 50 %.

So what is the real value of your time? Have you ever thought about it? I thought so and developed it to help you set your price based on your own cost.

Give a number and stand on the start line:

The other issue of the price setting is the market value of the picture and how much value to put in your own time. What is your priority? Do you want to work more and earn more, or do you want to earn more and work less? Other variables include market prices, competitiveness, and stimulated market abilities.

The easiest way to get information about the current market is to check the yellow page, contact other painters in your area, and contact the price. By doing so, you can see the market price. My past life as a clown

When I was running, I printed my business card on my computer using a business card photo paper sold at a stationery store. It seemed that it didn't cost the most than pressing a color business card. However, considering the price of ink, toner, and special paper, it was not. I distribute sweet s-like postcards, but I needed to reprint almost every week, and I was in a position because of the toner. As a result, I changed to a print shop with ful l-color business cards. On one side of the business card is a ful l-color printing press, and the other side is a dark color printing press. Thanks to the print artist, my design was definitely completed. This design has been converted to other advertising materials such as postcards and leaflet, and is also used for brand forms and marketing materials.
