Hearing when Artists Get New Modules (or other gear. )

Recently, it was very fun to explore Dream Chambers work after her concert on NYMS's Twitch broadcasting. The really exciting was that she was able to hear how her style and layout changed by incorporating more Morfagen into her personal arrangement.

As a relatively new winger, it's a fun way to train your ears. The artist listens to the "before" and "after" concerts that add new equipment and layouts to their own ideas. (This reminds me when I was attracted to the keyboard notebook that Trent Lesner uses Fun Mod and bought K2000).

So basically, I want to know what factors of "before / after" are different in other people's memories. Is there any other place where you can listen to the selection of equipment and the evolution of artists by music?

There is no doubt that there are many really popular artists and unpopular artists!

It was interesting to hear when VSNARES's Aaron Funk's modular system was noticeable, and he was a bit angry that he hadn't released anything for a long time. COIL imagines that when Moon's Milk and later works have evolved in the musical direction I really like. I don't think this is related to equipment. They find personal personal sounds, using more exotic synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and wider collaborator circles.

And this is not doubtful that when they shifted to Max/MSP, the work of Otecure caused crustal deformation!

Autechre actually instructed from Max/MSP and seems to be returning to more hardware gears for Overteps and more albums. But I believe in it and doubt it, and frankly, I haven't studied this problem.

I like vsnares more than Afex. In my opinion, vsnares has a really wonderful album, some trucks that are included in the average album, and some albums have nothing to do. My favorite is Rossz CSILLAG ALATT SZületett and Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding, but Trad Synth Music is also good.

Maybe it's the opposite of you. As far as I know, Untilted and Quaristice were mainly made of hardware. Quaristice's song was born from a live set jam made for tours after the release of Untilted. I don't know exactly what mix of Oversteps / Move of Ten, but in an interview that it was almost 100 % Max / MSP by the time Exai came out. The sound source of NTS/ELSEQ/AE LIVE clearly shows it, and on the tour at that time, we used laptops and some midi controllers.

I think the most "lol, right" example is when Radiohead opened up the Warp Records catalog and at one point bought a whole room of modular analog systems.

Unlimally, all his studio equipment was lost in the flood, but he was a tracker enthusiastic fan. He released several albums and tried to get supported, for example, Bandcamp. He may have thrown this problem for other events, for example, for romantic relationships and life.

Not to be too pretentious, but I can tell you that most of Autechre, starting with EP7/LP5, was made in Max/MSP! Someone might understand me differently, but these are my retrospectives from Watmm's AMA run many, many years ago.

For example, moving to developing a personal sound generator that is basically zero-mark, and physics-based sequences, such as differential phononization of virtual voltages.

Writing the right methods is not so elementary. And how to conceive methods that affect the human senses minutely in real time. This baggage is completely unconscious if you are a thorough listener of music. I was pretty pissed when I heard the first board. With 2 One, I was elementally shocked. I saw them live when they coded it, here in Sydney, with improved sound, a few years ago of useless and 10. There were elements that absolutely shocked me, and elements that confused me. In that respect, I applaud AE for being on their own level and not lumping them in with the 808th or 303rd. Seriously, the Martians will catch up with us soon, and we'll be in our pants and the 303rd. Would you want to be found with a copy of "Math in Your Hands" in your hand?
