It's been less than three years since I read this book, but for me it became DNF pretty quickly. An anti-utopian world with no originality, a simple heroine who doesn't know how wonderful it is, and a "love with an insta-nel" that seems to have been chosen.... Hahaha, I pity how much time it took before I had to cancel the book, but it was elementally painful.
My review: ⭐️⭐️
For me, Holly Black is a creator of fall or no fall, but "The Cruel Prince" certainly went into the number of misses. The universe here is beautiful (and I loved the little mascara drawings at the beginning of the chapters!), but every character was astronomically antipathetic. In fact, it seemed like everyone was. Basically, they were mocking and replacing their friends, and there was no balance where any character was more weird than the other. Don't even get me started on Jude and Cardan. Why? If I remember correctly, Cardan spent 3/4 of the book being disgusting to Jude without belittling her, then got on his knees and told her off, actually liked her. Whoosh?
Where is more hurtful? And it's not clear why Kardan is on par with Kaz Brekker and the guy from Akotar (I don't remember his name, I'm not going to go without reading the books) who is a thoughtful ya-chuks, which everyone is a fan of? I'm sometimes forced to believe the people of Earth.

Here is one of the books everyone recommends to me... I had to listen to one such young person from my high school class arrange a report on this book, and she didn't like it
Great. This review may be a bit skewed. I read most of Throne of Glass when the property was in a state of intestinal upset, and even then I don't think I was a fan of it. Pronouncing fantasy names is a pain, and Karena generally comes off as a rather static character with very little development, and by the end everything seemed to turn out so great for her. But the world building was fascinating. Probably. I don't understand this book, but I don't think I'll use Acotar or Crescent City. Maine.

The main problem is the same as the "cruel prince" and is the toxicity of the protagonist. In about 3/4 of the book, Mirnatius behaved extremely ruthless to Miliyam, and it will be a happy relationship!

We have an important heroine with uncertain mystery and have a mysterious charm ... This is comparable to any recent YA fantasy. For example, there is no huge number to distinguish it from others.

This book was the first book I knew Jennifer L. ArmentRout. This book also applies to almost all YA style that I hate. Instant Karma was a big disappointment. I liked most of the other works of Marissa Mayer, but this book was useless. I liked the idea of a magical realism style Romakome, and the Beatles were wonderful, but the pull was really frustrated and the romance didn't give me anything.
