‘AHS: Freak Show’: Twisty’s Tragic Backstory Doesn’t Redeem Him

In the Halloween episode of the American Horror Situation: Show Freaks, I actually learned that the appearance of murder clowns itself is a tragic situation. Twisty The Clown’s Backstory In ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’

Let's compare how his back story was observed with Elsa's situation. Elsa (Jessica Lang) was dragged and was almost killed in the climax of his career and was cut off his feet. She was punished for agreeing to pornography.

Elsa's sin consists only of the fact that she lives in a mild delusion. Of course she thinks she can be a star someday. Of course she thinks she can be a star. But she hasn't destroyed anyone (as far as we know) and I can't help but think she was punished by the show because she was actually a sex worker.

Seriously, Edward mocked her delusion and applauded Toisy's delusion. Isn't it all ugly? Sure, Edward is evil in his own way, but this is not the type of person AHS projects. Above all, Edward is written as a benevolent grim reaper who loves catastrophe.

Now that Richard (Denis O'Hare), a talent scout from Los Angeles, has been spotted in the big city, he will undoubtedly take advantage of Elsa and eventually bankroll her freak for money. Elsa is punished daily by the TV series for her "sin" of a hopeless delusion.

Elsa begged to be killed by Edward's hand but was refused. Toisy has a friend for the rest of her (in)life.

For some reason, I can't imagine AHS will pay attention to these ridiculous double stereotypes anytime soon.

Do you agree with me, HollywoodLifers? Or do you really think Toisty will be redeemed? Do you agree that it's absolute nonsense to canonize killer clowns while denying women who have been exposed to deep violence and dealt with it in ways that don't hurt others? Give me the nobility

I can't get away from seeing it and is now halfway to the second season (acelylam). More dark and no mercy.

The reason I did not first identify AHS was that it was actually developed as an anthology series, and as I thought, it was assumed that it included an unrelated episode series.

I didn't want to see it in order, so I saw it from the beginning yesterday. Whale reservations will end in two weeks, so two weeks to understand the ending are enough.

After seeing the first season (the murder house), he liked me brilliantly.

In the past season, all pages were flipped. I even thought that "Series Anthology" also suggested that episodes for each season would be a separate short situation. Each season is a long situation, but I like it.
