Plot [ ]

The story is that the mediocre boy Casey is affected by the improvement of mental state. Three sick people are separated from the group, killing three clowns and taking makeup and costumes. Casey at the circus, contrary to Randy's beliefs, becomes a fortune teller innocently. The fortune teller reveals and talks to Casey that his path of life has been interrupted:

"Be careful, be careful, in the darkest darkness, / but the body is young, strong, / there is no chance of a lon g-lasting life, / when black destruction leaves a personal impression." > Delete blank pages, improve navigation, add rules pages, integrate movie information boxes, etc.

• When the boys return home from the circus, a shocked Casey thinks his nightmare is over, but it's only just beginning. The three patients roam the houses, sadistically murdering the residents and imitating their death movements with clown jokes. When a clown attacks their house, Casey must face his fears once and for all. Casey and his brothers are trapped in a remote farmhouse and the power goes out. Casey tries to call the police, but when Casey says that the circus clowns are out to get him, the police think that Casey is scared of the clowns and is having a realistic nightmare. The police tell Casey to go back to sleep and everything will be fine, then hang up. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, the three boys are forced to work together in a desperate fight for survival. Randy, not believing Casey's claim that there are clowns in the house, mockingly dresses up as a clown and scares Casey in the costume before being caught and stabbed to death by one of the clowns. Casey successfully kills the first clown by pushing him down the stairs and breaking his neck. Later, after tricking the clowns, Casey and Jeffrey kill another clown by pushing him out of a window. The film ends with Jeffrey saying: "Fear is a part of you, and you always know where you are hiding." In 1988, Salva was accused of sexually abusing the actor who played Casey, Nathan Forrest Winters, during the filming of the movie. Salva served 15 months of a three-year sentence and was released on parole. Winters reappeared in 1996 when Salva's film Gunpowder was released. Salva returned to prominence in the film world with the release of Jeepers Creepers in 2001, and a sequel, Jeepers Creepers II, was released in 2003.
